Hislops family is based in Kaikoura, South Island, New Zealand. Hislop’s have long been involved in sustainable practices to produce the various food products the extended family has been producing. The ideals of “Organics” have been practiced within the family for three generation, even before there was formal registered Certification of Organic systems. Areas involved in have been horticulture/market gardening, genuine stone ground wholemeal flour, apiarist beekeepers, Café – Restaurant Wine bar. The latest in the line, ‘Hexagon Mead’ brand, by brother-in-law Nick & Helen with son Jesse Parkinson. Within the vision is the acknowledgement of “The Creator & Sustainer of Life”. That “A Taste of the Future” gives positive hope for even better things to come.
